4th of July attire and grow baby

I am slowly beginning to outgrow my clothes. This little mister is really starting to grow and move around, he's a little acrobat! Some of my dear friends who haven't been pregnant asked me what it feels like to feel him move. Well, the easiest way to describe the feeling is it kind of feels like I have a koi fish swimming around my tummy (; I'm sure once he gains some more weight though the feeling will change.

It's been really difficult to do outfit post these days because living in the mid-western United States is a nightmare in July. It's always 90-100 degrees and currently our little humble home DOESN'T have air conditioning.. so in other words I'd rather be chilling in my underwear or nude any chance I get. Sorry if that was too much information.

One more thing! So earlier today when Daryl and I were at the festival this random guy handing out fliers congratulated us on our little one on the way! It seriously made my day, I officially don't feel like I look like a girl who ate too much and like an actual pregnant woman.
Tee shirt: Papaya || Cropped top: c/o Oasap || Skirt&Necklace: F21 || Shoes: Thrifted

For all of you US readers, Happy 4th of July!!

  2. Hi there *waves* We're Chictopia friends!! I'm so excited to find you, I didn't know you had a blog, too. I saw you're pregnant (congrats on that). We're trying for a baby as well, and when I saw your belly I thought "Yes, someone to inspire funky maternity dressing".

    Have a great day.

  10. so cute. love this outfit. perfectly patriotic.
    also, umm our house doesn't have AC, everyday i die a little bit, but i just keep telling myself that the hot months don't last long here, its more important to have heat which we have. but the bad thing is that its hotter in our house than it is outside most days, pathetic, i know. but i'm totally about always being in my underwear. people now know that they have to text me before they come over so that i put on clothes. hahaha.

  16. I have been complaining about the 90- 100 weather and no A.C. for weeks now, but I can't even imagine doing it pregnant! I totally understand wanting to be in undergarments (or less) at all times! Your 4th outfit is adorable, and congrats on being "recognized" as pregnant haha!

  20. You look adorable! I understand the heat. When I get home it's pants off and I'm not sure how my husband feels about it yet - might change when we get more surprise visitors (as if). I can't wait to start showing though most people say I'm lucky I've got little more than a loose abdomen. Bleh. I hope I look like you soon!
