Color block dress and edgy flats

I feel like I've been failing at outfit posts this last week; it's been an entire week since my last one, yikes! Don't worry though I shouldn't have another long break like that until this little babe decides to makes his grand appearance. I want to thank those of you for the baby bump dressing advice, it was very helpful and I'm sorry I haven't been able to comment on your blogs. This last week things have been busy and I will get back to commenting on your blog posts shortly.

Eventually I'm going to need to find a decent pair of black and blue maternity jeans for winter! Preferably ones that don't have that ugly huge elastic band thing which is 95% of maternity jeans I've seen so far. I know I can get by with dresses for now but once fall and winter hit I'm going to freeze my butt off without some maternity stockings. I absolutely HATE clothing touching my stomach so I know it will be a problem finding awesome maternity leggings, tights, and jeans that will sit below the bump.

I'm 23.5 weeks today and I can't believe how fast time has flown by, I know November will be here sooner than I know it and I have hardly anything ready for our little baby and I'm stressing out. I feel like my life is constantly going at a rapid speed and I never have a day that goes by slow. Do any of you feel like that or am I crazy? My dad said it's because I'm getting older and everything goes by much faster the older you get, I sure hope that's not the case. I want to treasure every little moment in life especially as our little family grows.

Well on a positive note, my wonderful sponsor OASAP sent me this gorgeous color block dress last week and I'm so happy it works with my baby bump. I added a short lace cardigan and the belt Shane gifted me for Christmas in July to spice up the look. This dress is so comfortable and I know it will be one of my go to pieces when I need to hop in the car and run a quick errand. I also got my hair trimmed, I don't think you can really tell in these pictures but it feels silky smooth and dead end free! Just the way I like it (;

Happy Thursday Amigos!

  3. Love the dress! I liked gap's maternity jeans the best. They have a short stretchy waist so it sits below the belly. Their jeans don't get stretched out (in the legs or the waist band) like other brands do.

  4. Owhhh you look SO gorgeous lady!! That dress is lovely and so flattering. You'd think as the years go on that maternity wear would become more versatile, but no no! Here's to hoping you can find the perfect jeans :) xx
