When Shabby Apple contacted me about doing a dress review, I was excited to say the least. It was so hard to choose one dress from their great selection of modest dresses. I ended up choosing the
conductor dress because I didn't have anything like it in my closet. When I was taking my body measurements I was on the border line of a size because of my hips. Luckily, on their site it said to go a size up for this particular dress and I'm so glad I did. I ended up just altering the shoulders a bit and now it fits like a glove!
Overall, the quality of the dress is above my expectations. The material is so sturdy and made to last. Daryl also like how snug it is around my hips so that's a plus right ;P Be sure to stop on by a little later tonight because I will be hosting a Shabby Apple Giveaway!

I ADORE Shabby Apple's dresses but I have only ever drooled from a distance because of living in the UK and shipping costs/being afraid to order anything in case it doesn't fit/feeling really tubby and wanting to lose a bit more weight before I spend money on clothes... This post is so awesome to read though! I haven't seen any of SA's dresses on real people, and this one is BEAUTIFUL. Your shoes just add to the delicious vintageness of it all. Ahhh.

ReplyDeleteSoooo remember how excited I was about these shoes? And I rushed to F21 to order them? Well I can't find an e-mail confirmation anywhere and haven't gotten anything in the mail, so I suspect the order didn't go through. :( And now they're sold out. I'm so sad!! They're SO CUTE!!
