Maroon, Plaid, and Baseball Caps

Happy Labor Day!!

Once again I'm behind on blog posts, it's crazy to think these pictures were taken a little over a month ago. I'm really missing the cool Washington weather right now. It's so hot and dry in Utah, granted we've had a few rain showers the last couple weeks which have been nice. However, nothing compares to those cool summer days in Washington. I have a couple mama and baby style posts and some other pictures from our trip up North that I will be posting throughout this upcoming week and hopefully I can get all caught up and back in the swing of things.

First I want to talk about this skirt. This skirt is a recent buy from Nordstrom and it's very hard not to wear it everyday. It's a little bit on the expensive end (at least for me) but totally worth the price! It has a wide ruched waistband which sits right above my hips and is so incredibly comfortable. I love that it's fitted around the hips and more "flowy" towards the bottom. Whenever I'm doing housework I usually just knot it where the slit is. This skirt comes in 7 different colors and I'm highly considering buying the moss green one next time I go shopping.

I did some fall shopping for the upcoming cooler months and bought 3 different blouses from Nordstrom Rack for under $25, this being one of them. I'm a sucker for all things plaid and just couldn't leave the store without this shirt. I promised my husband that I would spend any more money on clothes for Zaden or I for at least a couple of weeks. I'm going to try and mix and match some of my recent buys with things we already have in our closets.
