Fall Fashion: Trendy Workout Gear and How to Wear it with Sears

 At the beginning of October I made a lifestyle change to eat healthier and workout on a regular basis. As part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I'm sharing how to wear it ideas for Fall Fashion from Sears. #ThisisStyle #cbias

A majority of my morning or evening (depending on when I can make it to the gym) is actually spent in workout attire. Usually I just throw on a sporty tank top and workout bottoms and don't really worry about 2013 Fashion trends. However, if I have plans to meet up with a friend for lunch or have to run errands with Zaden after stroller hour at the local gym, I wear items that I can easily layer and accessorize.
Something I really love about Fall Fashion is all the layering involved. I love adding a beanie or a simple cardigan in order to make an outfit really stand out. Prior to this shop, I had never shopped at Sears for workout clothing before. Sears has a great women's athletic apparel department, some of my favorite brands are Joe Boxer and Everlast. Not only was I in love with the simple and trendy designs, but the prices were unbeatable! All of the items I purchased were marked down at least 50% off.

I wanted to create 2 different looks to give you guys an idea how you can style your workout gear before or after a workout. The possibilities are endless but here are 2 looks I came up with from items I already had in my closet and workout gear I recently purchased at Sears.

Look 1:
Something I really love about this athletic top is the adorable heart design. It almost doesn't look like a workout top. The fit is nice a form fitting around the bottom, yet baggy in some of those troublesome areas (; I like how there is a pocket in the front, I still have yet to buy one of those arm bands that holds an iPhone so this is a perfect little area to keep my phone while I workout.
These leggings are nice and thick and perfect for jogging around the neighborhood if I can't make it to the gym. They are also thick enough to wear as pants as long as I'm wearing a shirt or something to cover my butt. I like that they are plain and that there isn't a huge logo anywhere in sight.
Here's an example of how I would style my already adorable athletic gear if I were to meet up with a friend before heading over to the gym. I would leave the house in a cute coat, beanie, boots, and a little bit of lipstick to make the heart really stand out on my shirt. I would just need to throw my tennis shoes in the trunk and have an elastic hair tie in my bag.

Look #2:
This top is my absolute favorite. I'm a sucker for neutral colors when it comes to workout gear and this top is everything I like in a workout top and more. I really like that it's black, since black is a slimming color and that it is the same style as the heart print top I mentioned above. A feature that this top has the the heart print top didn't is that it has a hood, I love hoodies!
Here's an example of how I would style my workout gear if I were to go shopping and had plans on going on a jog afterwards. I would leave the house in my favorite black hat, cardigan, studded boots, a bright statement necklace, and pink lipstick. I would just need to bring my tennis shoes, a hair elastic, throw my other items in the trunk, pull out the stroller, and head off on a jog with my favorite baby (;
