Bright Colors & A Blustery Day

As you can probably tell in the pictures above, these pictures were taken on a blustery cold day. If I would have known how windy it was going to be prior to going outside I would have worn my hair in a top knot or something. Zaden wasn't really in the mood for pictures and just wanted to be in my arms.

Actually a good portion of the time he just wants to be in my arms or have my full undivided attention. Before he could walk I thought that things would finally get easier once he could walk and be more independent, boy was I wrong. Now that he can run wherever his heart desires he gets into double the amount of trouble. I seriously can't keep my eyes off of him for more than a couple of minutes.

For instance, the other day he was sitting over by my dresser being exceptionally quiet. I had a full view of him but was finishing up some editing on some photos I had taken the day before. My husband was on his computer right next to him so I thought he had a pretty good view of what Zaden was up to. I then hear my husband go, "Zaden, NO!!" and I quickly look over and see Zaden covered in my lipstick and pretty much the whole tube of lipstick in his mouth.

As soon as Zaden figured out how to open lipstick and markers I have been pretty good at keeping them away from him but that one happened to fall off of the dresser when I was hurrying to get ready for church earlier that morning. I guess I'm going to have to take baby toddler proofing to a whole 'nother level (;

  1. Awww how cute. Your baby is so adorable! I love how he's using bright colors -- great way to brighten up a blustery day.
    Have you thought of getting one of those cute harness thingies? I'm not sure what they're called, they look like backpacks with cute monkey or bear on it. I always figure I'll need one of those whenever I have a little one lol :P

  10. his big puffy vest kills me! the lipstick thing is so funny.. just the other day my 2 year old niece was digging through my diaper bag and she found some red lip-lip as she calls it. she came over to me and had it all across her face like the joker and said, "i did it, i did the lip-lip!" she was pretty proud! those little stinkers :)
