Happy Valentines Day! I hope everyone has fun plans, whether it be a Valentines Day dance, a night out with friends, or a night in with your special someone. I know that Daryl and I are going out without Zaden tonight (thanks for baby sitting mom & dad) but I'm not sure what he has planned. I'm just excited to go out and have some one on one time with my man. I'm crossing my fingers that he gets off work on time.. I highly doubt it since he works in the restaurant industry but it would be nice.
So I recently ordered this blouse from 6KS and I love it. When I received it in the mail I was afraid it wasn't going to fit me. Asian shop sizes tend to fit more snug than Forever 21 and other American stores and I'm no twig by any means. Luckily, this shirt fit perfectly and I love that it has the option to button the sleeve so it looks like a short sleeve shirt.. am I the only person who has trouble rolling up both sleeves evenly for that perfect polished look?
Put simply it is the perfect shirt all year round and will be a great piece for the Spring/Summer time since it's light weight. Unfortunately it is sold out online but they have all sorts of other lovely items in stock right now. I'm really loving this shirt and this sweater at the moment.
When styling this shirt I wanted to go for a more feminine romantic look. I decided to accessorize with gold jewelry and wear my all time favorite skirt since it has gold undertones and flares out so beautifully. I wanted to do my makeup and hair all fancy but sadly it's almost impossible to have more than 15 minutes to get dressed, makeup'd, and get your hair done with a toddler; so you have the quicky version of my original vision (;
What I wore:
Shirt: c/o 6KS
Skirt: c/o Lulu*s (sold out but loving this one)
Shoes: Forever Young Shoes (similar in mint green here)
Necklace: Rue 21 (similar)
