I mentioned in my previous post that we have been having a lot of windy days here in Utah. Prior to leaving the house, I wasn't aware it was going to be yet another windy day and I curled my hair. After my husband came home from work we ran some errands and I asked if we could drive up to the park and take my outfit photos, he was more than willing to help me out. When we arrived at the park it was extremely windy by the lake since there aren't any tall buildings or homes surrounding it, hence the reason my hair is up in a messy top bun in the first few pictures.

After just about freezing to death and taking a look at the pictures I was honestly unsure if I liked them. We decided to head back home and just take them in front of our place. After taking a look at both of them on my computer I realized I didn't have enough clear shots in one location to just pick one (Daryl is still learning how to focus with my new lens) so I did a few of both (;

Surfdome recently sent me this lovely blouse to style. I've been meaning to find the perfect polka dot button up for months and happened to come across this Wolf & York top here on their website. It fits true to size and the quality is top notch.  I think navy is such a timeless color and I can already envision many summer outfits with this top. I decided to pattern mix it with this recently thrifted blazer for our date night and really love how it turned out.

I also want to take a minute and talk about this skirt from SWELL. I have been search of a midi length body con skirt for months now and when I came across this skirt on SWELL'S website I immediately knew I had to have it. I feel like the last two items I reviewed fit true to size but this skirt honestly runs a bit big. I even anticipated it being too small but it fits a little baggy on me. I highly recommend ordering a size down since there's a lot of stretch in the hips and butt (the area I was worried about when looking at the size chart). I'm definitely going to take it in a bit but other than that it's a fabulous skirt and on sale!
