Happy Wednesday. I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. I don’t know what plans Daryl has up his sleeve but I’m sure we will be going out whether it’s dinner and a movie or something a bit more creative. I wanted to style a cute and semi dressed up look for Valentine’s Day this year.

When thinking of the perfect place to find affordable party dresses, I immediately thought of rue21.  rue21 is almost always my go to store for the best deals. Not only do they carry a great selection of cute dresses; they also have amazing accessories, joggers, combat boots, blouses, and so much more.

I went out shopping with my friend Claire earlier this month and this floral and black skater dress caught my eye. I absolutely love the hints of subtle pink which added the perfect bit of color. There were so many other pretty party dresses in store it was hard to choose just one. However, this dress was a tad bit longer than the rest and fit me just right. If you are searching for an affordable Valentine’s Day dress, I highly suggest rue21.

As far as accessories go, those of you who have been reading here for a while now know how much I love Jane Basch’s simplistic jewelry. I wear my Nameplate Necklace nearly every day and love how it goes with any outfit and can be layered with all of my gold jewelry. Jane Basch recently launched their Spring 2015 collection and I instantly fell in love with their “Just Say It” Necklace. You can choose any word up to 9 characters for this trendy little number but I loved the original idea and thought it would be perfect for the month of love (;

I completed my look with my gray Gap sweater tights, this chic cream handbag from Lulu’s, black booties, and these gorgeous gold hoop earrings from Gemporia. I rarely wear pretty earrings since my long thick hair usually covers my ears but decided to pull back all of my hair to showcase these lovely earrings.
