Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Review and GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday Friends!

Today I have an amazing company I would love to introduce you guys to if you haven't heard of them already, Smile Brilliant. Smile Brilliant is a teeth whitening company based in St. Louis, Missouri with a mission to help people around the world get whiter smiles at an affordable price.

My husband and I both reviewed their teeth whitening kit, here's our review. Be sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom of the post for a chance to win a teeth whitening set for yourself ($139.95 value!)

I have always had very good oral hygiene and have never had a cavity. For the most part my teeth have always been pretty white. However, when I got pregnant with Zaden I noticed that my teeth yellowed a little bit (mostly around the gum area). Now obviously I'm not straight up cheesin' it all day and it wasn't very obvious unless you were very close to me.

Other things that could cause teeth to yellow are caffeinated beverages and certain foods, particularly ones high in sugar. I have my fair share of caffeine and try my best to always drink out of a straw to help prevent my teeth from being exposed to it. It's a habit I got into after having braces for over three years but after having Zaden I haven't been as careful with it which is another reason why they have yellowed over the last three years.

Teeth Whitening Trays by Smile Brilliant

When Smile Brilliant contacted me about reviewing their teeth whitening kit I was definitely on board! My teeth could definitely use a little bit of whitening however I didn't know how obvious my results would be or if it would work since results aren't 100% guaranteed. I figured it would be best to have both my husband and I review the whitening kit.

The kit we were sent to review included:
Teeth Whitening Trays
Carrying Case
Impression Material
3-Way, pre-paid postage
Custom dental models
Professional teeth whitening gel
Desensitizing gel
Instructions

I have very sensitive teeth so I did a whitening session 1-2 times a week. Daryl did longer sessions and more sessions then I did since his teeth aren't very sensitive. When whitening your teeth with Smile Brilliants teeth whitening kit, it is recommended to whiten anywhere from 15 minutes -3 hour sessions. Obviously the longer you have the trays on the faster the results. It ISN'T recommended to do long sessions if you experience tooth sensitivity.

I highly recommend purchasing the desensitizing gel if you have have sensitive teeth like I do, it was my saving grace after teeth whitening sessions and I could definitely feel a difference. I made the mistake of not using it for my first two sessions and cringed at the thought of whitening my teeth. However, after using the gel and shortened my sessions, I noticed a big difference and was able to whiten my teeth twice a week instead of only once a week.

The pictures speak for themselves! My husband and I both saw results using Smile Brilliant's Teeth Whitening set in just a few sessions.

Here are our un-touched photo results. In my before photo I'm obviously not wearing makeup and the lightening is slightly different (;

  15. I have used those strips a long time ago, but at the time I was a smoker (I know.. yuck!), so they didn't really work. But I quit smoking 3 years ago, and would love to get those old tobacco stains off of my teeth.
