Hanes Hosiery sent me some tights in order to create a look inspired by my favorite girl boss. After thinking of all the famous fashionistas across the globe I quickly knew who I was most inspired by. This look is inspired by the ever-so-fashionable Zooey Deschanel. When browsing online on what outfit I would like to re-create and add my own twist to, this particular look caught my attention. I loved that she paired light blue tights with a mint green dress, it's a color combo I personally don't see very often.
I added my own twist to it by adding eye glasses (Zooey wears glasses most of the time when she plays Jess on New Girl), a white t-shirt tucked into an a-line skirt, blue tights, mint heels, and a bold lip.

I haven't watched New Girl in ages. This outfit I feel like is something she'd wear out to a carnival before face planting into the drum of a fairy floss machine.
