Adding the perfect finishing touch to Z's room with Rugs USA

If you know me I'm not one to go all out on decorations or making a place "homey". Over the last five years I have moved 6 times and haven't stayed in one location for more than a year. It's hard to make a place feel and look "homey" when you are renting and can't do any major renovations.

However, now we are finally renting a place that is plenty big for our family of three. It may not be a house but it will definitely be our home until Daryl get through school. I really want to make this place feel like our home, in order to keep myself accountable I will be sharing bits and pieces of our home once a month here on the blog.

This month I will be sharing Zaden's bedroom!

Here's some more photos of Z's room:

I absolutely love Zaden's room it's very minimal and fun with little pops of color here and there. This rug from Rugs USA really completed Zaden's room. Prior to receiving our rug his room looked more simple with lots of negative space. The print really adds a unique factor to his bedroom and helps distract anyone from the boring carpet (;

If you are looking for a rug to help spruce up your home I highly recommend checking out Rugs USA! They have so many different prints and styles to choose from, one will surely spark your interest. They always have killer deals too! Right now you can take 70% off your order with code SUMMER70.

    1. Thanks so much! The globe was a gift from my grandfather when I turned 10 years old. It's actually very cool because it's a globe LAMP (; I passed it down to Zaden when he was born. The company is based in Indianapolis. George F. Cram Co.
