Once Upon a Friday Evening

Dear Zaden,

Earlier this month, on a warmer than usual Friday evening, we stopped by a pretty park on the way to your great grandfathers place. You were extra sleepy this evening since you didn't get your afternoon nap and I felt bad getting you out of your extra toasty car seat. However, mama wanted pictures to look back at when she's old and her hairs are gray. I love you.

Bright Pink Shirt and LulaRoe Maxi Skirt

This post is going to be short and sweet since I have a few projects I'm trying to finish up today while Zaden naps. We had a pretty busy weekend over here since our little guy was blessed this last Sunday. It was so nice to celebrate with family and close friends. I will have to post pictures later on this week of Zaden in his adorable blessing outfit.

LulaRoe sent me this gorgeous skirt to review. I absolutely love the fun print and it is unbelievably comfortable! Their maxi skirts are affordable and their patterns are bought in limited colors and quantity. Once purchased, sold, and sewn the fabric is no longer available! I think it is pretty awesome that there will only be a few others that have this skirt. Ever since receiving it I've been regularly checking out their shop to see if any new skirts have been added.

LulaRoe is generously offering all Dearest Lou readers 10% off any purchase with promo code: cecilia. Perfect opportunity to buy yourself a little something for Valentines Day (;

Albion Fit Review and Giveaway

Albion Fit is a local company from Salt Lake City, Utah. Albion's mission is to provide women with the most luxurious, flattering, and hassle-free fitness and leisure apparel on the market. They have adorable vintage inspired swimwear and their workout clothing is vibrant, functional, and very durable. Albion Fit is also committed to the environment and is continually striving to make their manufacturing facility greener each day by recycling plant waste by using earth friendly materials in their products.
I received the love racer top in silver to review. At first I was a little skeptical about the product and I thought it would be like most of my other workout tank tops and ride up my hips as I worked out. However, to my surprise this top didn't rise up at all and stayed right below my hips! The fit is nice and snug and has really good support, the little ruching detail on the sides really helped the top fit around my curves.. However, I wish I would have got a size up since this top squished my boobs, haha.

Albion Fit is offering one lucky Dearest Lou  reader a love racer top in silver, a $42 value!

Pretty Birds and Mint

This was suppose to be a "Thrifty Thursday" post but I didn't want to post three times in one day so here I am posting this on Friday. I will eventually catch up to emails and posts right? These were taken earlier this week when we had a pretty snowfall here in Utah. I love playing with colors and I decided to play with pastels for this outfit since I'm ready for spring.

PB&J Boutique recently sent me this Early Bird top to style in an outfit post. I absolutely love the pretty lace collar and the quality of this shirt is top of the notch. Button up tops are always one of my go to items when dressing in the morning since it makes nursing sessions easy as 1-2-3! I decided to wear my lovely purple thrifted skirt that I thrifted for $3 during the middle of my pregnancy. I didn't get the opportunity to wear it until now since it wasn't flattering at all with my bump.

Since last spring I've been loving the color mint. Even though its viewed as more of a spring color I've been wearing it ever since I got my first mint shirt last summer. Lulus.com recently sent me this lovely mint colored bag. It also works as a great smaller diaper bag even though I can't carry everything I would like in there it does the trick! Chicwish sent me these ice cream mint loafers to style and I thought they would add the perfect touch to this outfit. I love how vibrant they are and that they can add a bit of color to any outfit (;
