I love the way you smile at me when I call for your attention

Floral and Plaid

Friday evening we visited Great Grandpa Warner. Our short weekly visits are one of the highlights of our week. It's so fun to chat with him and share all of Zaden's milestones and funny stories. We stepped outside for a brief moment to capture some pictures. Great Grandpa really wanted some new pictures of Zaden to show all of his friends. I also wanted my sister to capture some shots of Zaden and I since we were actually dressed up in something other than leggings and a t-shirt, our signature "go to" look (;

Thoughts on Blogging

Lately I've felt no desire whatsoever to blog. I would be lying if I said that the thought of deleting this blog hasn't crossed my mind more than once. Whenever I have a free minute while Zaden is napping next to me I decide I would much rather turn on netflix or finally get in the habit of keeping our bedroom clean and folding that dreaded basket of clean laundry. However, every day that passes by that I don't photograph or record Zaden I go to bed with a feeling of regret. He is growing up so fast and I want to document and cherish every second. I look back at photos that I haven't posted like these ones and I wonder why. It only took 15 minutes of my free time to edit the photos and to start this mess of a post. I want to learn how to photograph better. I want to take more videos of Zaden and our family. I'm hoping that I can get into the habit of pulling out my camera and actually posting photos relatively quickly like I used to. It takes a couple of weeks to form a  habit and hopefully I can get back into the swing of this blogging thing. I've made so many great friends through blogging and instagram and I want to thank those of you who are still reading and taking interest in my little family.

Aztec Print Leggings and Our Favorite Shoes

 I haven't done an outfit post in a while and decided the weather has warmed up enough to start including Zaden in my outfit posts. This will be the first of many mama-baby style posts (; We wore these outfits when we went to Olive Garden to celebrate my brother-in-laws birthday towards the end of March.

I have been wearing these boots so much lately and I have been putting Zaden in these little shoes from Baby Gap as much as possible. I didn't realize how well both our shoes go together until I was editing these pictures. Style Lately recently sent me these fun aztec print leggings and it's honestly hard not to wear them everyday. They are so dang comfortable and are perfect for lounging around the house or making a quick trip to the supermarket. Normally I wouldn't recommend paying more than $20 for a pair of leggings but these are a much higher quality than any of the ones I own from Forever 21 or H&M. They are currently out of stock but I'm sure they will be getting more anytime in the next couple of weeks.
