Stitched Custom Quilts

I wish I could say that quilting was one of my talents but sadly it isn't. For any of you who are in the same boat you can create your own quilt over at Stitched Custom Quilts. I designed this quilt for Z with their block designer.

Their block designer is so easy to use and there are so many different fabrics to choose from. I spent a couple of hours designing and choosing fabrics for Z's quilt and it was so much fun. I'm not the most crafty person but I love how it turned out.  I can't wait to have two little guys to snuggle in it.

Must-Have Maternity Basics

Maternity Belly Support Tank Top c/o Blanqi || Supportwear Leggings c/o Blanqi || Pink Blush Kimono + Belt (last year) || Brooklyn Hats Wild Flower Hat || Steve Madden Boots || Gaby Stack c/o The Shine Project

Here's one of my favorite looks I have put together this pregnancy but almost a month late. I've seriously been so horrible at blogging this year guys.. ahhhh! I'm kind of jealous of all the recently pregnant ladies out there since they will get to take advantage of cooler fall/winter weather instead of dealing with heat and a big ol' belly hehe (;

This outfit includes two pregnancy must-have's I think every woman should consider investing in. Both items are from Blanqi. They carry THE BEST support wear! I wouldn't even bother investing in a cheap legging or tank top option when you can get simply the best from them.

Maternity Belly Support Tank Top: This top is an absolute dream. You would think because it's supportwear that it would be thick and unbearable in the heat. That's completely false. I have worn this layered up in 90 degree + weather no problem. I love that supports and alleviates belly weight giving my lower back a nice little break when I wear it. I also love the higher scoop neckline on the tank top and that it isn't ultra low. Very modest, seamless, and eases pain. I ordered my pre-pregnancy size as recommended on their site and it still fits great!

Supportwear Leggings: Okay guys, so prior to reviewing and trying these for myself I made a mistake and tried buying other cheaper maternity legging options. None of which are near as comfortable and supportive. These cling on to your maternity figure just right and offer complete coverage. Some of the other leggings I purchased have cut off mid belly which isn't very flattering or comfortable. I wear these leggings to nearly all of my photography gigs and style them different ways throughout the week, LOVE THEM!

How darling are these photos Diana took of Z and I. Earlier this month we went over to model for her over at Laurie Putnam's Lehi Ivory Model Home. I love these lifestyle shots she took of us. When trying to decide what we should wear I knew our Winter Water Factory matching attire would be perfect. I absolutely love the fun geometric print.

You may have also noticed the lovely quilt in the last few photos. I actually designed the quilt over at Stitched Custom Quilts with their Block Designer. I will be posting more photos of Z and his quilt later on this week so stay tuned for those.

27 Weeks + Alterre Shoes Look #2

Mist Grey Mule + Tilda in Cream from Alterre Shoes

I'm in denial that I will be in my third trimester next week. This pregnancy is surely flying by, it must be because I have been so busy. I mentioned in my post last week that I have been living in dresses the bigger I get and this tent dress is one that I wear regularly! Super comfortable and cute. I styled it with this old pearl bib necklace I have had for years, a black floppy hat, and my Alterre Shoes! Back in May I reviewed these and mentioned you can change you look by simply changing the strap. I had originally paired this style with a different outfit but wasn't pleased with how the photos turned out so we re-shot with this outfit (; I absolutely love the Tilda in Cream look, it adds a vintage flare to any outfit I pair these shoes with.

Baby Blue Shift Dress + Black Accessories

Shifting My Way Dress c/o TOBI || Suede Choker, Silver Midi Ring, Open Circle Ring c/o Nickel & Suede || Classic Sheffield Silver 36 mm c/o Daniel Wellington || Combat Boots (sold out) || Volcolm Fedora (sold out)

 Light blue is a color I don't wear very often so when selecting items to style from TOBI I decided I wanted to try something new and out of my comfort zone. Shift dresses and all things baby blue definitely fit the criteria (; This light blue shift dress from TOBI fits like a dream. I love that it is flowy (perfect for the growing bump).  I think it is slowly becoming a tunic since my belly keeps growing, I will have to style it as a tunic later on in my pregnancy!

This is my first style post featuring TOBI so be sure to stay tuned for parts 2&3 in the next couple of weeks! I have picked out some other amazing items to showcase on here. Also, I can't forget to mention that NEW CUSTOMERS receive 50% off their first order! Isn't that amazing?! I highly suggest checking out their tops, blazers, and maxi skirts (they have so many cute options in these categories right now)!

I also want to take a moment and talk about Nickel & Suede! I absolutely love their unique jewelry. Most of the jewelry they carry is leather! I absolutely love that choker necklaces are in again and have been wearing this lovely suede choker so much lately. The necklace and rings really added the perfect finishing touches to my date night look. I will be dedicating an instagram post sharing a closer up look at these pieces later this month so stay tuned for that (;

Celebrating Dads w/ Crocs

Dad's Wearing: CitiLane Roka Slip-on's in Black
Mama's wearing: Leigh II 2-Strap Wedge in Bronze
Z's wearing: Kids' Croc Bump It Shoe in Black/Oyster

Father's Day is this Sunday, can you believe it? Today I have teamed up with Crocs to discuss fun ways to celebrate the special dads in your lives.

Crocs sent us some amazing shoes for our outing and they are so very comfortable! I love that Crocs offers a variety of styles now. You wouldn't guess that my wedges are Crocs now would you? These shoes are amazing and I love that I have a new dressy shoe I feel comfortable wearing pregnant. We all love our shoes.

For our special activity this particular evening, we took Z to a park a played "monster" aka tag which is one of his favorite games. We absolutely love playing with him and getting some fresh summer air right before the sun sets is always a great way to start a special evening. Afterwards we grabbed a few burgers and watched a movie as a family before bed. There are a variety of activities and acts of kindness you can do to celebrate the men in your life.

I would love to hear how you plan on celebrating Father's Day this year. Please comment below with your plans if you wouldn't mind sharing (;
