Baby Shower Style

Updo: H2Blow
I'm wearing: DRESS c/o || SHOES (similar)

If you didn't catch yesterdays Baby Shower details post here's the link! Also if you want a real throwback here's the link to my 2012 baby shower (;

One thing I didn't talk about yesterday was my baby shower attire. I wanted something comfortable and pretty and Pink Blush Maternity delivered! I originally was hoping to get this dress in navy but at the time they were sold out in my size so beige was the next best thing (;

What stood out to me about this dress was the fun bell sleeves, right above the knee length, and the lovely lace material! The sleeve liner was more of a tank top so I just layered on a cream undershirt for my modesty standards (: I ended up ordering a size up thinking I was bigger than I actually am and kind of regret it. As you can probably tell in some of the photos the dress drowns me so I paired it with a belt to show off my cute bump. The belt unfortunately doesn't come with the dress but I snagged it off of one of my other Pink Blush dresses, ha!

H2Blow a blow dry bar and makeup salon in SLC hooked me up with this lovely updo! Just days before going in I had recently chopped a good 2 inches off and was afraid my hair would be too difficult to work with! I can't remember the sweet hairstylists name, but she made my hair vision come to life! I love that you can also see some of my undercut with this updo. Now I just need to learn how to do it myself so I can look this cute on a regular basis and not so homeless (;

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star: A Baby Shower

I'm just now getting around to sharing the photos from my Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Baby Shower.
My sister did an amazing job helping me with this shower, I couldn't have done it without her!

INVITES
We ordered the PERFECT invitations from Minted. I absolutely loved the under the stars design and color scheme which is a bit different from the traditional baby blue. We went all out and got coordinating stamps, envelopes. envelope liners, and thank you cards (which I just barely got around to sending out.. haha).

TABLES
We got all of the utensils, plates, and table decor at Zurchers! They had a great selection of metallic and navy items and great quality disposable table clothes and skirts for the not-so-pretty foldable tables! I linked everything down below for those who are interested in a similar color schemed party!

DECORATIONS
We kept the decorations very similar since the club house we rented was very well decorated and classy! The few things we did get really added the perfect touch for our Twinkle Little Star theme!

We wanted to create a pretty wall as sort of the center piece of the room. The gold mirror really stood out to me so we decided we would decorate around that! We purchased a pack of fancy party fans from Zurchers and paper pom poms from DECOpoms.

The fans were super easy to assemble! The only problem was getting them to stay up during the duration of the party since they are a bit heavy. Next time we will plan ahead and add even more scotch tape to keep those bad boys up. The pom poms from DECOpoms were handcrafted by Aidreen Metz! They came beautifully packaged and I can tell she puts a great amount of detail and love into her work! These took quite a bit of time to assemble so if purchasing I highly recommend making a couple of days before your event.

Overall, I love how the fans and poms came together! We centered the diaper cake right in the middle of the cabinet and added the stars (which were originally on the food counter) after everyone was done eating (:
FOOD
The food counter turned out so cute! We used one decoration item and a gorgeous custom cake as the center pieces!

How cute is this custom 'Oh Baby' sign from HelloEveryday?! We were indecisive on where to put this and concluded that it stood out the most in front of this dark counter space! Hana was so sweet and easy to work with. As soon as I told her about the shower and my vision she quickly made this adorable sign for me! I'm planning on hanging it in the boys room on Adriens side of the room sometime next year (;

The food item that stole the show and got so many compliments was this gorgeous cake from Kenna's Cakes! Kenna did an amazing job and not only is the cake pretty but it was also very tasty! If you are located in Salt Lake Valley and are looking for a cake for your next event I highly suggest contacting Kenna (:

The rest of the food items were purchased at costco! We had light refreshements which included: sandwich wraps, fresh fruit, and chips+salsa!

MORE PICS!
Tiana planned all the games and the shower afterwards so I would need to get details from her for the games and whatnot! After we ate and mingled for a bit we played a baby quiz, bingo, and guessing how big around I am with a string. Funny thing about that game is my mother-in-law was the first person to measure her string around me and she got it exactly right! Everyone else measured their strings against hers. I then opened gifts and was generously showered with so many gifts. The diapers, wipes and baby essentials have definitely come in handy since Adrien decided to come 3 weeks early (only 2 weeks after this shower took place)!

Tomorrow I will be sharing my baby shower outfit details so tune in for that (;

Shades of Green + Giveaway

Diaper Bag: Charlie Diaper Bag in Khaki Green c/o

I'm wearing: TOP c/o|| JEANS || SHOES (similar)

Playing catch up once again (story of my life) and am in disbelief of how much Adrien has grown! He's definitely got more chub on him and is more awake during the day. I can't wait to catch up and start sharing new photos so you guys can see.

I totally forgot how hard it is to find breast feeding friendly clothing. I put about half of my dresses and tops in storage since I can't nurse in them and I'm hoping to exclusively breastfeed this little guy as long as possible! When shopping these days I look for either flowy tops, tops with stretch, and button-ups. This olive green beauty from My Sisters Closet Boutique is one of my go-to tops at the moment, I love the flowy fit!

Also showcasing this SoYoung diaper bag once again!

I have teamed up with SoYoung to giveaway a Charlie Diaper Bag in the color of winners choice!
