Graduation 2012

I'm so happy to be graduated from college, it feels great. For those of you who don't know me personally, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Business Management. The ceremony started at 8:30 AM which was excruciatingly early for me since I've been sleeping in until at least noon this whole semester. However, Daryl, Ti, and I somehow got up and made it to the ceremony.

My parents, Dani and her mother drove up from Salt Lake Valley to show their support which I really appreciated. After the ceremony we went to a little reception the Woodbury School of Business threw together and had a light breakfast. Daryl had to leave shortly after since he had to be to work by 11:30 so I ended up heading down to Salt Lake with Dani and my family.

Before we went out to lunch, I went out with Danielle to go help her pick out some gifts for a double baby shower she was attending later that evening. We then met up with Daryl and my mom and went out to Apple Bee's to celebrate the big day.

Checkered shorts and a pink jacket

The weather was really rainy and gloomy on Thursday. Since it was pretty chilly, I decided to play around with my outfit and layer up. I absolutely love this American Eagle sweater that one of my previous co-workers gave me at last years Christmas party. It's super warm and one of the comfiest pieces I own. I decided to wear my jacket over it in order to spice the look up a bit.

I had the opportunity to go to my sisters MESA award dinner which was really fun. I'm so proud of her. However, the main reason I went down to Salt Lake Valley today was to visit my dear grandma Carol, she's currently in the hospital and not doing very well. I have so many amazing memories with her and it was bittersweet seeing her at the hospital today. I hope that no matter what happens that she doesn't have to suffer through anymore pain.
I love you grandma!

Sugar me smooth review

Sugar Me Smooth sent me some amazing products a couple of weeks ago to try out. The products overall have been everything I expected and more. So you know how I mentioned in this post that I haven’t shaved my legs in a while in order to try sugaring for the first time? Well, I was mistaken and realized that they sent me Facial Hair Removal not body. ;P So I ended up shaving my legs immediately after I read the bottle. However, I had Daryl try the facial sugar on a few spots on my legs.

At first I was scared to try it so I had Daryl apply and remove the hair for me. It was a lot less painful then waxing and left my skin silky smooth! Plus Daryl and I had a great time he loved seeing my reactions right before he pulled. I've also noticed that the hair hasn't even began to grow back and we did this on Saturday night so it's practically been a week and no sign of hair!

Sugar Me Smooth also sent me some Tropical Mango Body Scrub and oh my goodness the stuff works wonders! I have a mild case of keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and upper thighs and I’ve been apply the body scrub twice a week (as directed on the container) and it’s made my skin feel SO MUCH SOFTER. I've also noticed that my dry skin is beginning to disappear it's a miracle.

If you are looking for an alternative to shaving or waxing this summer in order to have silky smooth skin I highly suggest heading over to Sugar Me Smooth and purchasing some products! It's WAY cheaper than waxing and will last just as long if not longer plus it's so much cheaper. You won’t regret it.

Floral dress and black stockings

So Daryl convinced me to get all dolled up so I could do a blog post. Haven't done an outfit post in over a week and a half.. crazy how time goes by. For the past couple of weeks I've been craving spaghetti factory so when Daryl asked me what I wanted to do for date night this week well lets just say it was an easy decision. (; If you haven't ever been to spaghetti factory shame on you, it's delectable (Daryl always makes fun of me for saying something is delectable.. I seem to over use that word haha).

I thrifted myself this little dress a couple of months ago and I'm surprised I haven't done an outfit post in it yet. It's my "go to" church dress on Sundays. I absolutely love the print! To be honest with you guys I've been wearing high stockings, tights, maxi skirts, and boots for like two weeks now because I've been growing out my leg hair for a little experiment. I got some amazing products from Sugar Me Smooth in the mail last week and I'm excited to try them out! Will be doing a review on how it goes sometime early next week!

An explanation for my recent absense

I want to apologize for not being consistent in posting the last few weeks. I thought that my final semester of university would be a breeze. A couple of weeks ago I was fifty percent sure I wasn't graduating but after what has felt like never ending hours of diligent study I can safely say I'm almost one hundred percent sure I will. I have one more project and a presentation I need to do next week but with proper preparation I should do well.

I just completed my final exam at the testing center! I will never have to place a step in that building ever again. In just one short week I will be walking with my graduating class and my 4 year degree will be done and over with. Homework, exams, and projects that have been looming over my head the last 14 years will completely disappear.
I will never have to worry about school again!

This is the dream I've been working for so diligently since my first high school sophomore summer semester until now and it's finally going to be real
I'm ready to begin the next chapter in my life.

Recently

Spending good ol' quality time with Dani at Barnes and Noble until they close then driving over to Apple Bee's and getting asked to leave the bar since I'm not 21.
1AM burgers and shakes with Habado and our dear friend Kevin.
Sweet picture I took of the bracelets that haven't left my wrist since my last outfit post.
Double date with Dani and Sunny. Daryl made Karaage and rice and I made apple spice bread for dessert. After lots of talking and laughter we watched one of Sunny's favorite movies Lost in Translation.

Tribal print top and sunny days

Sorry that I've been MIA the last few days I had the flu last week and spent a majority of my time in bed. Luckily my sweet husband took care of me and I'm feeling a lot better this week! It was great to take a break from social media for a few days. Other than being sick I've spent a majority of my time awake studying for all my final exams coming up the next couple of weeks and working on final projects. I can't believe there's only two weeks left this semester!

Habado and I went to the park today and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air, it was just what we needed. I hope that we've seen the last of the snow and that the weather will keep slowly increasing. I bought these toms when there was still snow on the ground and I didn't want to wear them until it got nice outside. I really like the design on them! I thrifted this little tribal print top a couple of weeks ago and I love the fact that it's easy to move around in.
